Airbus Helicopters in Japan has signed a contract with Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) benefiting from Airbus Helicopters’ new customer fleet availability service offer called HCare Infinite. The comprehensive agreement covers maintenance, parts supply, technical support as well as repair of 15 TH-135 training helicopters currently in operation at the JMSDF, and is effective from October this year. This is the second HCare Infinite contract signed by Airbus Helicopters in 2016.
This fleet availability program will allow the JMSDF to focus on flight operations while Airbus Helicopters manages the customer’s assets. The HCare Infinite agreement includes commitments on spare parts delivery and maintenance lead time, as well as a global operational availability target, with a daily average of 12 helicopters per day, and up to 15 in peak period.
